CLARIN had a high visibility at the annual conference of the Digital Humanities, which was held 11-16 July 2016 in Kraków. CLARIN was a sponsor of the conference, and ran an exhibition booth to highlight CLARIN activities and meet people, with more than one thousand attendees in total.
Version 4.0 of the VLO was released last week, and one of the primary (and probably most eye-catching) changes is the major user interface overhaul that has been carried out since the previous release.

The workshop 'Exploring Spoken Word Data in Oral History Archives' was held in at the Oxford e-Research Centre on the 18th and 19th April, and brought together researchers from a number of disciplines working with oral history collections, curators of oral history materials, along with language t
