CLARIN had a high visibility at the annual conference of the Digital Humanities, which was held 11-16 July 2016 in Kraków. CLARIN was a sponsor of the conference, and ran an exhibition booth to highlight CLARIN activities and meet people, with more than one thousand attendees in total.

 
 

After two years of preparation, specification and implementation, the CMDI task force of CLARIN's centre committee has now made available a new version of CLARIN's metadata framework: CMDI 1.2.

 
 

Version 4.0 of the VLO was released last week, and one of the primary (and probably most eye-catching) changes is the major user interface overhaul that has been carried out since the previous release.
