We are pleased to announce that the Center of Estonian Language Resources (CELR) in Tartu, Estonia, has received its first B-centre certification and the BBAW - Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW) in Berlin, Germany has been successfully re-assessed and received a renewed B-centre certification.
The centres have been assessed again according to the current criteria and are both certified as a CLARIN B-centre.
CLARIN ERIC congratulates the centres and thanks all persons involved in particular those responsible at the B-centre and the members of the assessment committees.
The goal of the Center of Estonian Language Resources (CELR) is to create and manage an infrastructure to make the Estonian language digital resources (dictionaries, corpora – both text and speech –, various language databases) and language technology tools (software) available to everyone working with digital language materials.
