CLARIN and Libraries

About

The workshop will bring together for the first time a group of people associated with both CLARIN (or other research infrastructures) and libraries, in order to discuss issues relating to the delivery of digital content for researchers, and to plan practical steps for future collaboration. As an initial step in building this community, this workshop will aim to establish a common basis of understanding about some key existing projects and services. Presentations will be made about Nederlab, Text+, DATA-KBR-BE, as well as existing research infrastructure services, and new and emerging technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to introduce their own projects and resources, and there will be ample time for discussion, including discussion of future joint activities.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation. If you are interested in attending, please contact your national coordinator or clarin [at] clarin.eu (clarin[at]clarin[dot]eu).  The workshop will start with lunch on Monday 9 May, with the first session at 13:30, and end by 14:00 on Tuesday 10 May. The venue is located very close to Den Haag Centraal mainline station. Information on getting to the venue can be found here. Access the list of participants here.
