Shared Services for the Humanities

, - ,

A technical workshop will bring together developers and strategists from leading international initiatives in the domain of research infrastructure in the Humanities, to take steps forward to building more connections and shared services.

This workshop is an activity of CHAIN, the Coalition of Humanities and Arts Infrastructures and Networks, which is a forum for promoting interoperability and cooperation between infrastructure initiatives.

There will be participants from the ALLC, Bamboo Technology Project, centerNet, CLARIN, DARIAH, ENROLLER, TextGRID, and others.

Various technical areas will be discussed, with a clear agenda to identify areas where we can:

  • share ideas, experiences & expertise;
  • identify potential areas for connecting and sharing services;
  • identify particular challenges and barriers.
