From 14-16 April 2021, CLARIAH-AT hosted a twitter showcase event, which introduced more than 100 Austrian Digital Humanities projects from all across the country through a series of tweets. The thematic focus ranged from 3D reconstructions of Arabic inscription impressions, through a number of digital editions of resources from various time periods and humanities disciplines, to the application of distant reading methods to journals of the enlightenment, to name just a few of the diverse and groundbreaking projects involved.
Each project was promoted by up to three tweets, which were often accompanied by additional Twitter and other dissemination activities by the researchers involved in the projects. The audience was directed to individual project pages on the Digital Humanities Austria Projects website, containing further information and resources for each individual project.
The three-day event featured 214 tweets and created more than 1800 retweets and more than 2600 likes. In addition, it led to almost 1000 visits to the digital-humanities.at website, ample evidence that the event drew a lot of international attention!
