CLARIN2022 Presenter Guidelines

This guide is intended to help you to prepare for the conference and your presentation. Guidelines for the following presentation formats are included:

  1. Oral presentations of abstracts
  2. Teaching with CLARIN 
  3. PhD presentations 
  4. CLARIN Bazaar stalls.

NB: All presenters are kindly requested to upload their final slides in PDF and/or PPT(X) format to the relevant Dropbox link (see below) at their earliest convenience, but preferably no later than 5 October, 18:00 CEST.

1. Oral Presentations

Each oral presentation is allocated a 20-minute time slot (see the conference programme), of which 15 minutes will be reserved for the presentation itself and 5 minutes for discussion.

2. Teaching with CLARIN

In this session, presentations are allocated 10 minutes each (see the conference programme).

3. PhD Presentations 

Each PhD student is invited to give a 4-minute oral presentation in the plenary format, followed by a poster presentation during the Bazaar session.

3. CLARIN Bazaar

If your request for a stall at the CLARIN Bazaar has been accepted, you are welcome to present your work in progress, ideas, visions and demonstrations at the dedicated time slot (see the conference programme).

Available equipment:

  • Posters: 
    • The maximum size for posters is A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm)
    • Posters must be in portrait mode
  • A table for laptop or other material can be provided on request (based on limited availability)
  • Wi-Fi Internet connection
  • Please bring your own demonstration computer.
