The CLARIN Bazaar 2022

The CLARIN Bazaar is an informal space at theĀ CLARIN Annual ConferenceĀ where you can meet people from other centres and countries, find out about their work in progress, exchange ideas, and talk to people about future collaborations. The Bazaar will provide an informal setting for conversations with CLARIN people, and space to show your work to colleagues on their laptop computer, and distribute handouts and leaflets.

What's the Difference Between the Bazaar and a Conference Presentation or Poster?

Oral and poster presentations, based on peer-reviewed extended abstracts,Ā are intended for reporting significant CLARIN-related work which has been completed, or in which substantial progress has been made. Bazaar places can be used for work in progress, sharing experiences, ideas and visions, planning, and for demonstrating smaller outputs of CLARIN work. A place in the Bazaar is not a formal presentation, and submissions are not formally peer-reviewed.

Eligibility for Bazaar Stall RegistrationĀ

Registration for the Bazaar is openĀ forĀ conference attendants (e.g. authors of an accepted paper, members of a national consortium, representatives from a partner organisation). All submissions (aĀ title and a description of max. 250 words) will be checked forĀ theirĀ relevance to the CLARIN audience.

Format of Bazaar

The Bazaar session will take place face to face. Closer to the event, CLARIN will share more details on the possibility of allowing virtual attendants to interact with the Bazaar stall holders.
