Visiting Drift 10
When you arrive at Drift 10 and enter the corridor, you can call 6378 (CLARIN Office) or your contact person by using the telephone which is located on your left hand side, and your contact will then pick you up.
To Drift 10
By foot: Utrecht Central Station – Drift (20 minutes)
The CLARIN ERIC Office is located in the centre of Utrecht and if the weather is good, you can walk from Utrecht Central Station to the CLARIN ERIC Office, which is actually a nice walk through the beautiful city centre. Please view the walking route.
By bus: Utrecht Central Station – Drift (10 minutes)
The CLARIN ERIC Office can easily be reached by bus from Utrecht Central Station.
When getting off the train, walk to bus platform D2. This bus platform can be reached via exit “Jaarbeurszijde” ( beyond railway track 21).
You can buy a ticket (with cash) on the bus at the bus driver or make use of the OV Chip card (for details on how to use it: see Wikipedia). From platform D2, you can take the following buses and get off at “Janskerkhof”:
- line 8 - direction 'Wilhelminapark via Diakonessenhuis’
- line 77 - direction ‘Bilthoven NS via De Bilt)
For line 8 you need to get off at “Janskerkhof” at the 3rd stop and for line 77 that is the 2nd stop.
From bus stop “Janskerkhof” you need to cross the street to Drift (by the water). Drift 10 is located at the end of the street on your left hand side.

By train: Schiphol Airport Amsterdam - Utrecht Central Station (35 minutes)
The Schiphol train station is situated directly next to the airport. Train tickets or a OV-chipkaart are available from the yellow ticket machines near the platforms at Schiphol Plaza or from the ticket offices, which are situated close to the red/white-checked cube at Schiphol Plaza. Trains depart for Utrecht about every 15 minutes. Buy a one-way ticket ("enkele reis") to Utrecht Central Station (€ 8,70). Intercity trains are faster than local "sprinter" trains. By train: Eindhoven Airport – Utrecht Central Station (75 minutes)
From the arrival hall at Eindhoven Airport you can walk to the bus stop. With bus nr 400 or nr 401, starting at Eindhoven Airport, Eindhoven Central Station can be reached in approximately 20 minutes. You can buy a bus ticket on the bus. At Eindhoven Central Station train tickets are available from the yellow ticket machines near the platforms or from the ticket offices in the central hall of the station. Buy a one-way ticket (enkele reis) to Utrecht Central Station (€ 14,30). There is a direct train to Utrecht every 15 minutes.
